Exotic Veil showcases the interplay between green and gold—fresh and aged, sharp and sweet. Premium Royal Green Hojari Frankincense (Boswellia Sacra), the highest grade from Oman, provides the foundation with its exceptional clarity and pronounced citrus character. This is the Frankincense reserved for royalty, with a brightness that lesser grades can’t match. When heated, it releases layers of lemon, lime, and subtle pine.
Galbanum (Ferula Galbaniflua) brings its ancient green magic—intensely fresh, almost aggressive in its plant-like sharpness. The Egyptians called it “green incense” and paired it with Frankincense in their most sacred blends. Here, it prevents the composition from becoming too sweet, adding a wild, untamed element that keeps you coming back.
The surprise is Premium Siam Benzoin (Styrax Tonkinensis)—different from common varieties, with a more refined, less vanilla-heavy profile. It brings depth and fixative properties, helping the lighter elements last longer while adding its own balsamic mystery. A small amount of Peruvian Copal (Protium Paniculatum) brightens everything, contributing an almost effervescent quality that lifts the entire blend.
Hand-crafted into beautiful pieces with an almost crystalline texture. The color palette spans from pale champagne through yellow-green to deep olive, with some pieces showing translucent amber depths. The surface has a distinctive sugared or frosted appearance, catching light like rough gemstones. Each piece reveals the natural variation of the combined resins.
Burns best on the included mica plate at moderate heat—around 180-200°F for electric burners. The progression is remarkable: sharp green and citrus notes dominate initially, then gradually warm into the Benzoin’s sweetness while maintaining that distinctive green thread throughout.
